Local Diving Trips

Local Ko Lanta Dive Sites - Ocean DiversThe local dive sites are perfect for all levels of divers. We use these sites for our training dives, but they also have much to offer the more experienced diver. From finding Nemo to close encounters with turtles there is a huge variety of marine life to enjoy. Snorkelers are also welcome on these trips, although spaces are limited.

Ocean Divers have a comfortable, fully equipped dive boat for our daily dive trips. With the number of diving customers limited to just 16 you are assured of plenty of space once aboard. You can sit and chat with the other guests, or find a quiet place to have a snooze or head up front to do some serious sunbathing. Just don’t forget the sun cream!

After a free transfer from your hotel you will arrive at our Saladan base where you will be met by your dive professional and be introduced to the rest of your dive team (if you don’t know them already!). We have a limit of 4 divers per dive professional, and where possible the groups will be made up of people of similar ability and experience.

Scuba Dive Ko Lanta, Thailand - Ocean DiversThe boat will leave the dock at 8am and after a quick briefing we will serve breakfast as the boat heads for a great day at some of the fantastic sites in the area such as Koh Haa, Koh Bida, Koh Phi Phi and Hin Bida. On board you will receive a thorough dive brief from your divemaster or instructor about what you can expect from the dive site.

Lunch will be served during the surface interval between the two dives when you will be free to go for a swim or a snorkel.  There are plenty of hot and cold drinks aboard, just help yourself throughout the day and fresh fruit will also be served at regular intervals.

On the way back to Lanta you will be able to log your dives with your dive professional and identify what you have seen with our fish slates and books. The boat will return to Saladan at about 4pm where we will have transport waiting to take you back to your hotel.
