Duration: 3 Days – 4 Dives Class Size: Maximum 4 Students to 1 Instructor Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water Diver and Emergency First Responsequalifications (or equivalents)
Are you ready for what is probably the most challenging and rewarding course in the PADI syllabus? The course is designed to enable you to identify and react to diver problems and diving emergencies should they occur. By the end of this course you will be a far more proficient and confident diver. The PADI Rescue Diver course develops your knowledge and skills so you can effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid. The course will focus on the following areas:
- Self Rescue
- Recognising and Managing Stress in Other Divers
- Emergency Management and Equipment
- Rescuing Panicked Divers
- Rescuing Unresponsive Divers
- Searching for Missing Divers
The program is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver. PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent) certification is also a prerequisite for all PADI leadership programs including Divemaster.
